Firework Season

The fifth of November is the hardest night of the year for a lot of pets. In RSPCA polling, around 63% of owners said their animal appeared distressed during firework season, and about half said they dread it themselves.

You can't stop the bangs. You can make the night easier — muffle the noise a little, give them somewhere enclosed to settle, and hand over something to lick while it passes.

Start early. Whatever you use, introduce it weeks ahead rather than on the night — a bed, a covered den or a lick mat only helps if it already feels normal. If your pet is severely affected, speak to your vet; there are options we don't sell.
